ART + TYPE MAGAZINE
Art + Type Magazine is a collaborative artist publication and global community co-founded by Susan Behrends Valenzuela and myself. As a women-led, inclusive, and equitable community of artists and art-lovers "Art and Type" strives to feature the work of diverse artists worldwide. Since our founding in June 2020 we have published five issues and we are currently working on a sixth one. Between our five issues, we have been able to feature the artwork and poetry of over 30 different contributors. My role within the magazine is a collaborative role with my fellow co-founder and partner where we plan and work together to create digital and print content. My job involves being the curator, lead editor, and content writer, as well as working and contributing to graphic design and social media content.
