10-hour performance
MOVE is a performance that took place on May 1st, 2020. The performance lasted 10 hours where every hour the artist changed position in relation to her space and a chair. With this work the artist wants to continue her exploration of the body and politics, exploring the constraints imposed on female and queer bodies and the mannerism expected of woman. The work was documented through an Instagram live that lasted the 10 hours of the performance, where the artist did not eat or move apart from the change of position each hour. The below video uses some of the footage of the performance and tries to show what the artist was inspired by as well as what she thought during the time of the performance.
